Morinaga CSR Program - Endang Hyder

published December 04 2020

On 02/12/2020, We, Morinaga Milk Malaysia has conducted our first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and held a media event in Kampar, Perak.

We were touched by the story of our talented Malaysian violinist, Endang Hyder, who intended to sell off her German violin for RM20,000 to take care of her ill father. Endang’s father, Encik Zainuddin bin Mohd Ottok, is a diabetic patient and recently became a double amputee.

With the slogan “For a Greater Loving, Caring and Healthy Morinaga Family”, we were moved by her filial piety and wished to help Endang by buying the violin from her. However, we understood that the violin is so precious and sentimental to her, and therefore surprised her by presenting the violin back as a gift.

We would like to encourage our fellow Malaysians to continue to care and extend a helping hand wherever possible, especially towards those who have been badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
